What Is Viral Transport Tube

The virus sampling tube is used for the collection and transportation of new coronavirus, influenza virus, avian influenza (such as H7N9), hand, foot and mouth virus, measles and other virus specimens, as well as specimens of mycoplasma, ureaplasma, and chlamydia. Viruses and related samples should be stored and transported within 48 hours in a refrigerated state (2-8°C), and viruses and related samples should be stored in a -80°C environment or liquid nitrogen environment for a long time.

Features

On the basis of Hank's, BSA (Bovine Serum Albumin) amino acids, vitamins and other nutrients required by viruses are added. It can maintain the activity of the virus in a wide temperature range, keep the originality of the sample to the greatest extent, and can be used for nucleic acid extraction and detection of virus, culture and isolation of virus.

Product storage conditions

  4-25°C. After sampling, it should be transported to the laboratory within 48 hours below 2-8°C. If it cannot be delivered to the laboratory within 48 hours, it should be stored below -70°C.
