Inspection Principle

Hank's Balanced salt builds a neutral environment; Bovine serum albumin (BSA) was used as a protein stabilizer to increase virus survival time and infection stability with Hank's balance salt. Antibiotics have a broad-spectrum antibacterial effect; Phenol red is an acid-base indicator, with a pH value of 6.6 (yellow) ~ 8.0 (red) in the discoloration area, and red at pH value 7.2 ~ 7.4.

Matters needing attention：

1. The liquid in the sampling tube is the transport medium and cannot be dipped with the sampling swab before sampling.

2. The waste sample collection liquid should be sterilized.

3. VTM virus sampling tube is only used for in vitro diagnosis, and can not be used for internal and external use or swallowing by human body or animal.

4. It is prohibited to use if the delivery medium is expired, the liquid is discolored, cloudy, or leaking

Storage conditions

1. Virus and related samples should be stored and transported within 48 hours under cold storage (2-8℃).

2. Virus and related samples can be stored for a long time in -80℃ or liquid nitrogen environment. The virus can maintain virus activity in a low temperature range, reduce the rate of virus decomposition, and increase the positive rate of virus isolation.

4. It is prohibited to use if the delivery medium is expired, the liquid is discolored, cloudy, or leaking
