Inspection Principle

Hank's Balanced salt builds a neutral environment; Bovine serum albumin (BSA) was used as a protein stabilizer to increase virus survival time and infection stability with Hank's balance salt. Antibiotics have a broad-spectrum antibacterial effect; Phenol red is an acid-base indicator, with a pH value of 6.6 (yellow) ~ 8.0 (red) in the discoloration area, and red at pH value 7.2 ~ 7.4.

Storage conditions

1. Virus and related samples should be stored and transported within 48 hours under cold storage (2-8℃).

2. Virus and related samples can be stored for a long time in -80℃ or liquid nitrogen environment. The virus can maintain virus activity in a low temperature range, reduce the rate of virus decomposition, and increase the positive rate of virus isolation.
